Use HTTPS. Send x-api-key for /api/v1/* routes, with the required scope and allowed source IP. Admin routes require x-admin-token instead. Use Content-Type: application/json for JSON requests. Store keys server-side. Keep requestId for support. The /api/v1 discovery response is abbreviated; use openapi.json for complete route coverage.

Current availability (2026-10-09): transfer-grades, external-transfers, RegisterNet and SectionOrder writes are enabled for authorized keys. POST /api/v1/registrations is disabled and returns 503 after authentication. RegisterNet writes do not create REGISTER rows. SectionOrder accepts Total, OrderHow and OrderHowNet as supplied; PUT requires If-Match from the single-row GET.

Do not infer credentials, scopes, student data or business rules from examples. Do not send real student data to a model unless authorized. Do not attempt write requests as a documentation test.
